Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 18, 2026

This is a general template provided for convenience and does not constitute legal advice. Have it reviewed by an attorney before relying on it for your business.

1. What we collect

Account information (name, email, business name), client and job data you enter (addresses, dog details, schedules), tech location data (only while actively sharing location for ETA notifications), and payment information processed by Stripe (we do not store full card numbers).

2. How we use it

To operate the Service: scheduling, routing, sending client notifications (including ETA texts/emails), processing invoices and payments, and generating payroll exports for your business. We do not sell Customer Data.

3. Location data

Tech location is only recorded while a tech is actively using the app and sharing their location, and is used to estimate ETAs for the business's own clients. Location history is not retained beyond what's needed for the most recent ETA calculation.

4. Sharing

We share data with the service providers needed to run Scooper (e.g. Stripe for payments, email/SMS providers for notifications, hosting providers), and otherwise only as required by law.

5. Data retention & deletion

We retain Customer Data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your organization's data by contacting us; some records may be retained where required for legal, tax, or billing purposes.

6. Security

We use industry-standard practices (password hashing, encrypted connections, access controls) to protect data, but no system is 100% secure.

7. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; the "last updated" date below will reflect the most recent revision.
